1. Acceptance of the Terms

Welcome to Movent.

These Terms of Use set out the rules and conditions for using the Movent app and related services.

By downloading, accessing or using Movent, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. About Movent

Movent is an iPhone app that tracks candidates' preparation for the TAF, the physical fitness test in Brazilian police, military and firefighter exams. It logs weight, measurements, tests and workouts, compares results with the standards entered by the user and suggests goals up to exam day.

The app is provided with the features available at the time of use. During the testing (beta) phase, some features may change, fail or be removed.

3. Health notice

Movent does not replace an assessment by a physician, nutritionist or fitness professional. Get a medical checkup before starting intense training.

BMI, body fat percentage, energy expenditure, readiness and goal calculations are estimates for informational purposes only and are not a diagnosis, prescription or professional advice. You are responsible for respecting your limits and for stopping any activity if you feel pain or discomfort.

4. Exam standards and results

The standards, events and criteria for each exam are entered by you from the official notice. Movent has no affiliation with exam boards, agencies or organizing institutions.

The exam simulation shows where you stand based on the data you logged and does not guarantee passing the real test. Always check the rules in the official notice.

5. Account

To use the backup, you sign in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account and for the accuracy of the information you enter in the app.

You can delete your account at any time in the app, which erases the backup stored on the server.

6. Subscriptions

Some features, such as logging new data and the account backup, require a paid subscription. Available prices and periods are shown in the app before purchase.

Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that end.

When a free trial is offered, billing starts at the end of the trial unless the subscription is canceled before then.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Refunds follow Apple's policies.

Without an active subscription, data you have already logged remains visible, and you can still delete it or delete your account.

7. License

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Movent on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's standard End User License Agreement.

This license does not permit:

• Copying, modifying or distributing the app or its code;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to extract the source code;
• Attempting to access other users' data or interfering with the server;
• Using the app for illegal purposes.

8. Intellectual property

All rights related to Movent, including code, design, brand, interface and visual elements, belong to its developer.

The data you log remains yours.

9. Limitation of liability

Movent is provided "as is", to the extent permitted by applicable law, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, of being error-free or of any exam outcome.

We are not liable for injuries resulting from training, for decisions made based on the app's estimates or for loss of data that is not in the backup. We recommend keeping the backup on.

10. Suspension and termination

Access to the backup may be suspended or terminated in case of a breach of these Terms of Use.

You may stop using Movent at any time by deleting your data and removing the app.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically.

The latest version will always be available on this page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the Consumer Protection Code.
