1. Acceptance of the Terms

Welcome to Lanterneiro.

These Terms of Use set out the rules and conditions for using the Lanterneiro platform and related services.

By accessing or using Lanterneiro, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the platform.

2. About Lanterneiro

Lanterneiro is a management system (ERP) for auto repair shops, accessed through the browser at lanterneiro.com, that helps manage work orders, quotes, customer and supplier records, and the financial flow of bank slips.

The platform is provided with the features available at the time of use and may receive future updates and improvements.

3. Registration and accounts

To use Lanterneiro, the company must create an account and register its users, assigning them to departments and access roles.

The company is responsible for the accuracy of the registered information and for managing the access granted to its employees, including permission promotions and revocations.

4. License

Upon subscribing to the service, the company receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lanterneiro in accordance with these Terms of Use.

This license does not permit:

• Copying, modifying or distributing the platform or its code;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to extract the source code;
• Using the platform for illegal purposes or to harm third parties.

5. Plans and payments

Access to Lanterneiro is subject to the plan contracted with the company responsible for the service, including any billing, renewal and cancellation conditions agreed at the time of contracting.

6. User responsibilities

The company and its users are responsible for the accuracy of the registered data (customers, suppliers, quotes and bank slips) and for the proper use of the platform's features.

When enabling the Gmail integration, the company is responsible for authorizing access only with its own accounts and for revoking that authorization when it is no longer needed.

We recommend keeping backups of critical documents and information.

7. Intellectual property

All rights related to Lanterneiro, including code, design, brand, interface and visual elements, belong to their respective owners.

These Terms do not grant the company or users any ownership rights over the platform.

8. Limitation of liability

Lanterneiro uses artificial intelligence to help automatically extract data from PDF bank slips. Although this extraction is meant to speed up the process, the user must verify the accuracy of the extracted data before using it for financial or accounting purposes.

The platform is provided "as is", to the extent permitted by applicable law, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of being entirely error-free.

9. Updates

Lanterneiro may receive updates to fix issues, improve features or add new ones, which may include changing or removing existing features.

10. Suspension and termination

Access to the platform may be suspended or terminated in case of a breach of these Terms of Use or non-payment related to the contracted plan.

After termination, access for the company and its users will be discontinued, subject to legal data retention obligations.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically.
