Thank you for using Lanterneiro.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lanterneiro collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

By using the platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information collected

To run the shop's management, Lanterneiro collects and stores:

• User registration data (name, email, company and department);
• Data on customers and suppliers registered by the shop;
• Work order, quote and estimate data;
• Financial data extracted from bank slips (amount, due date, payee and payer);
• Audit logs of actions performed on the platform.

3. Use of artificial intelligence (OpenAI)

Bank slips submitted as PDFs, whether uploaded manually or captured from email, are processed by OpenAI artificial intelligence services to automatically extract the financial data.

Only the data needed for this extraction is sent to the AI provider, and this information is not used to train third-party models.

4. Gmail integration

Lanterneiro offers an optional integration with the company's Gmail account, via OAuth, to scan emails for bank slips attached as PDFs.

This integration only accesses attachments recognized as bank slips, manually or automatically (every 15 minutes), and does not read, store or process the content of emails unrelated to this purpose.

Access can be revoked at any time by the company, either on the platform or directly in the Google account settings.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database, with real-time communication over WebSocket for tracking processing (for example, bank slip recognition).

We use role- and department-based access control, so each user only sees information consistent with their permission level.

6. Information sharing

Lanterneiro does not sell or trade the information of companies and users.

Data may be shared with providers required to deliver the service (such as hosting infrastructure and OpenAI's AI service for bank slip extraction) or when required by law or by a competent authority.

7. Data retention

Data is kept while the company's account is active on the platform, or for the period required by applicable legal, tax or accounting obligations.

8. Data subject rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you may at any time request confirmation, access, correction, portability or deletion of your personal data, except where retention is required by law.

9. Children's privacy

Lanterneiro is a business tool intended for companies and their employees, and is not directed at children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.

Whenever significant changes are made, the last updated date on this page will be revised.
